I'm in a New York state of mind

I'm going to be away in New York for the next 8 days. So I will probably not blog in the next week or so. Of course there was a good chance I wasn't going to blog in the next week or so anyway, so I don't quite know what the point of this post was.

(I was going to call my post New York Minute, after the Eagles song, bcuz even though it doesn't make a lot of sense I really like the song. Then I remembered that New York Minute is also the name of a cinematic abomination starring the OIsen twins, hence the change. And this new name is more appropriate anyway...so everybody wins.)
