Seriously what is the point of buying overpriced shoes if noone will even appreciate their trendiness?
I have a pair of Uggs that I wear everyday to work before changing into my totally inappropriate for outside shoes. Here is a link to said shoes so you can picture them. My boss makes fun of me everyday for wearing mukluks. My boss' boss routinely asks me if my dog sled is parked outside.

my ex bf ALWAYS made fun of my uggs. he referred to them as mukluks as well, and would call me "Jennymoccasin" when i wore them.
all my [male] friends think they're hideous and make fun of them. I'm like: these are 400 dollar boots! love them!!
Well I wear them mostly cuz I walk to and from the subway everyday and they keep my feet warm. I think its ludicrous how much more they cost in Canada though! The Uptown is round 200 bucks in the US and it costs about twice that here! One of my friends bought her Uggs at Winners for 100 dollars, but that sort of thing never happens to me. I doubt it happens very much at all.
